Dubbed the ‘Nigerian Nightmare,’ Ashe showcased his exceptional talent by clocking an impressive 9.99 seconds (with a wind assistance of 0.7) in the men’s collegiate 100-meter event, outpacing his competitors with ease. Ashe’s remarkable achievement is particularly noteworthy as it marks his first outdoor race of the season and his first competition in over a month, following a setback during the indoor season.
