Nigerians praise goalkeeper Adebayo Adeleye for solid performance vs Sierra Leone
After the Super Eagles fought to a 2-3Â win over Sierra Leone, goalkeeper Adebayo Adeleye has earned praise from Nigerians for a solid performance in that game.
The goalkeeping department has attracted more criticism than praise in the Super Eagles over the last decade , it is refreshing to see Nigerians eulogize 23-year old Adebayo Adeleye after the game, despite conceding two goals.
In different Social media platforms, Nigerians are head-over-heel in praise for the Hapoel Jerusalem goalkeeper and are already backing him to retain the number one shirt for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations bound Super Eagles.
Against Sierra Leone, Adebayo Adeleye is credited to have made four key saves. His confidence on and off the ball, decisiveness and quick reflexes enough to woo Nigerian football fans.
