Nigerians to NFF: Keep Randy Waldrum as Super Falcons Head Coach
Nigerians have told the Nigeria Football Federation – NFF to keep Randy Waldrum as Head Coach of the Super Falcons after what most say was a ‘ good ‘ show at the Women’s World Cup.
American born Coach Randy Waldrum’s future as the Super Falcons Head Coach will be subject of debate after the teams 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup last-16 exit.
Nigeria fell 2-4 on penalties to England after a goalless 120 minutes of action at the Lang Park in Brisbane Australia on Monday August 7.
Prior to the last-16 game, NFF President Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau had announced the Federation will take decision on Waldrum’s future after the World Cup.
The American Born Coach in his post match interview after the loss to England said he wants to stay with the Super Falcons with his sights set on the Paris Olympics.
For most Nigerians who made their opinions known on Social media, Waldrum has done a good job as seen at the FIFA Women’s World Cup and should stay on as Super Falcons Head Coach.
