Nigeria’s Tolulope Arokodare uncertain about his future with KRC Genk
Nigerian forward Tolulope Arokodare has revealed that he is unsure whether his recent game for KRC Genk was his last with the club.
Amidst ongoing transfer speculation linking him to Trabzonspor, Arokodare addressed his future after Genk’s 4-1 victory over Club Brugge on Sunday.
Despite the rumors, the lanky attacker remains focused on his current responsibilities with the team.
“Only players who retire really know when it’s their last match anywhere. As for me, this was not my last match for Genk, I think,” Arokodare said. “There are still matches to come. Next week we play against Beerschot. I’m focused on that and not on rumors.”
Arokodare, who scored in Genk’s win over Club Brugge, emphasized his commitment to the club. “I have a contract with Genk and I will respect that by doing my job,” he added.
