NPFL: Cyril Olisema returns to Akwa United FC, makes Matchday squad for Nassarawa United clash
He is one of the most established names in the Nigeria Professional Football League – NPFL, Cyril Olisema has returned to Akwa United FC.
In his first stint with the Promise Keepers, Olisema was a fan favourite until a move to Enyimba International FC in 2019.
At the end of last season, Olisema was heavily linked to a move back to Akwa United FC but instead a move to Al Kwabab happened.

Olisema could mark his Akwa United FC return when the Promise Keepers take on Nassarawa United FC in Jos on Matchday three of the 2022/2023 NPFL season.
Winless in the 2-weeks old 2022/2023 Nigeria Professional Football League season, Coach Ayodeji Ayeni will be happy to have Cyril Olisema in the team for the game on Sunday January 22, his experience and quality reason fans of the Uyo based club will be happy with news of his return.
Olisema will wear jersey number 23 for the 2022/2023 season.
