Abia Warriors pick up Oriental Derby win, Dakkada keep fighting
Plateau United claimed an important win in their NPFL Matchday 32 clash against Kano Pillars at the New Jos Stadium. The Peace Boys picked up a 1-0 win thanks to a first-half strike from striker Akila Jesse. The win cuts Rivers United’s lead at the top of the table to seven points with six games left in the season.

Niger Tornadoes defeated Enyimba 2-1 in their NPFL Matchday 32 clash. Munir Idris opened the scoring for the Ikon Allah Boys before Emeka Obioma equalised for the visitors. Musa Wakili scored from the spot on the cusp of half-time to secure the win for his side.
Heartland picked up a shock 1-0 win at home to Akwa United in Owerri. Adewole Adeniji scored the game’s only goal to give his side maximum points and boost their bid to beat the drop.
Abia Warriors defeated Rangers in the day’s only Oriental Derby at the Okigwe Township Stadium, with goals from Valentine Odoh, his 11th of the campaign, and Paul Samson either side of the half-time whistle giving the Umuahia Landlords maximum points from the encounter.
