NPFL: Rockets announce Remo Stars move for Ex flying Eagles Star Aniekeme Okon, Nwaeze
Ex Flying Eagles star Aniekeme Okon and defender Boniface Nwaeze have signed for Remo Stars from FC ONE Rockets the NNL club announced via it’s social media handles.
Aniekeme Okon spent the 2021/2022 season on loan at Kano Pillars Fc while Boniface Nwaeze was on the books of Dakkada Fc on loan from the Rockets .
The agreement between FC ONE Rockets and Remo Stars sees Okon and Nwaeze join the Ikenne outfit in a two-year deal that runs till the end of the 2023/2024 season.
Remo Stars have been active in the current transfer window as the club reinforces it’s ranks ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup campaign .
The deal for Okon and Nwaeze plus the Enyimba International FC transfer of Unwana Asuquo earlier in the week brings to three transfer deals involving the Indomitable empire with more of such moves expected in the current transfer window .
Meanwhile FC ONE Rockets will on Saturday August 20, face Abia Comets in a Nigeria National League match.
The Rockets will be targeting a win in the game at the Practice pitch of the Nest of Champions, Uyo with kickoff scheduled for 4pm .
