NPFL Stars Off to Texas as Super Eagles Camp opens for Mexico/Ecuador Friendlies
Nigeria will face Mexico and Ecuador in Friendly games billed for 28th May and 2nd June in Texas , USA. The NPFL players invited for this games on Tuesday night departed Nigeria for Texas to kickstart preparations for the games.
The Nigerian Professional football league stars who made the Super Eagles team are AdewaleAdeyinka (Akwa United) , Ojo Olorunleke (Enyimba) , Isa Ali (Remo Stars), Ibrahim Buhari (Plateau United)
Midfielders Afeez Nosiru (Kwara United) and Chiamaka Madu (Rivers United) Plus the forward duo of Victor Mbaoma (Enyimba Int’l) and Ishaq Kayode (Rivers United).
The players who left the country in the company of other team officials will be joined in the United States by 22 Foreign based players.

The games will afford new Super Eagles Head Coach Jose Paseiro the opportunity to see the players as he begins his reign as Super Eagles manager.
Unlike their foreign based counterparts who have concluded action in their respective leagues, the NPFL stars will be missed by their various clubs on Matchday 30 of the 2021/2022 season.
The NPFL players who wore smiling looks as they boarded the flight to Texas will attempt to impress the new Super Eagles Head Coach and possibly earn a place in his plans for the new Super Eagles.
