NPFL Super Six: Paul Bassey to head organizing committee, draw date announced
Foremost Sports Journalist cum administrator Elder Paul Bassey will head the Organizing Committee for the 2022/2023 NPFL Super Six Playoffs.
This is contained in a release by the Interim Management Committee –Â IMC ahead of the Playoffs which gets underway in Lagos this weekend.
” Vice Chairman of the IMC, Paul Bassey has been named as Head of the Play-off Local Organising Committee.
” Bassey is expected to bring his wealth of experience in similar position at state, national and international competitions to ensure a successful organisation of the tournament to determine the Champions of the season, ” IMC Said.
The Interim Management Committee of the Nigeria Premier Football League also announced date for the 2022/23 Champions super six Play-offs draws.
The draws will hold on Friday, June 2 at the corporate headquarters of GTI Group, investment, Official partners to the Nigeria Premier Football League.
Head of Operations of IMC, Davidson Owumi said plans for a successful Play-off have reached advanced stage and the Draw event would mark the official commencement of the season ending event.

2021/2022 Champions Rivers United, Lobi Stars and Sunshine Stars reached the Playoffs from Group B while Bendel Insurance, Remo Stars and Enyimba emerged from Group A.
The NPFL Super Six Play-off will hold from June 3 -11 at the Mobolaji Arena in the Onikan area of Lagos.
In a related development, NPFL Head of Communications, Harry Iwuala disclosed that issuance of accreditation passes to media houses wishing to cover the play-off will commence at the Draw event.
He said “We would want to implore media organisations wishing to cover the play-off to send accreditation requests to the DM of the NPFL email account @NPFL NG or youdees@gmail.com on or before 6pm on Thursday, June 1.”
Elder Paul Bassey, the IMC acknowledged has swung into action towards ensuring a hitch-free Play-offs to mark the end of what was a well organized top-flight season.
