NPFL youth team back to South Africa for Future champions U-17 International Tournament

The Nigeria Professional Football League youth team will be participating in the Future Champions U-17 international tournament yet again.

The selected youth players across Nigerian Professional Football League teams took a break after their involvement in the tournament back in 2017 where they lost in the final to Atletico Madrid U-17 team.

But have been confirmed to be taking part in the 2019 edition in Gauteng, South Africa from March 25-31.

The Future Champions International is one of the world’s most prestigious and elite U17 club tournaments featuring top teams from across the globe. It has been held in South Africa and Brazil since 2009.

Club Brugge U-17 are the defending champions.
