NPFL23 Matchday 11: Remo Stars win away as Akwa United hold Insurance

Remo Stars secured a second win since the restart in their NPFL23 Matchday 11 encounter with El-Kanemi Warriors in Maiduguri. The Sky Blue Stars claimed a 2-1 win away from home thanks to goals from Andy Okpe and captain Nduka Junior. Ayanrinde scored his second of the match to put his side ahead before Ghali Falke made it three. The visitors found a second goal in the game but failed to get an equaliser.

Niger Tornadoes picked up their second win of the week as they held off Wikki Tourist in their NPFL23 Matchday 11 encounter. David Okoromi and Mark Daniel scored the goals in a 2-0 win for the Ikon Allah boys.

Anayo Ogbonna scored the only goal of the game for Gombe United as they came away with a 1-0 win over Kwara United at the Pantami Stadium in Gombe.

Abia Warriors triumphed in their Oriental Derby at home to Rangers, claiming a late 2-1 win in the match. Jimoh Gbadamosi opened the scoring for the home side with a penalty after 12 minutes before Uche John equalised for Rangers. Uche Moses scored with the last kick of the game to give the Umuahia Landlords a win at home.

Bayelsa United held Dakkada to a 1-1 draw at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo. Robert Mizo opened the scoring for Bayelsa United before Mmekut Udosen equalised for the Chosen Ones.

Sunshine Stars were held to a 1-1 draw by Doma United in their NPFL23 Matchday 11 clash. The visitors equalised through Paschal Nwabueze after Sunshine Stars had gone ahead Bidemi Owuko.
