Nwakaeme off the mark in Israel
Super Eagles striker Anthony Nwakaeme has scored his first league goal of the season for his Israeli club Hapoel Be’er Sheva in their 2-1 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv.
With Hapoel down to 10-men in just the 20th minute, their top marksman Nwakaeme came through with the opening goal of the night.
Nwakeme, 28, opened his league account with a good finish in the 62nd minute of play before Sahar made it 2-0 six minutes later.

Nwakeme goals this season prior to this match had come in the cup competitions.
The win takes reigning Israeli champions Hapoel Be’er Sheva to 4th place on the table with 14 points from seven games though they have played a game less.less
