Nwakaeme on target in Trabzonspor win

One time Nigeria international, Anthony Nwakaeme scored in Trabzonspor’s 2-0 victory away at Yeni Malatyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig on Monday.

Nwakaeme scored a goal reminiscent of the one scored by Kanu Nwankwo for Arsenal against Chelsea in 1999 in the 90th minute to seal the points after Anastasios Bakasetas had given Trabzonspor the lead in the 50th minute of the game. Nwakaeme received the ball near the byline in the left and bulldozed his way into the box before finishing smartly from an angle to secure the points for his team.

The goal was his 6th of the Super Lig season for Trabzonspor as they look to win the Turkish title this season.
