Nwankwo Kanu tweets Enyimba FC battle charge ahead of Al Ahli Benghazi clash
Chairman of Enyimba International FC Nwankwo Kanu has tweeted his battle charge ahead of the CAF Champions League clash vs Al Ahli Benghazi.
The People’s Elephants visit the Enyimba Stadium in Aba for the 2023/2024 CAF Champions League preliminary round second leg fixture on Sunday August 26.
In the first leg, played inside the Benina Martyrs Stadium, Benghazi, Enyimba narrowly lost 4-3 and so will seek to overturn the deficit and progress.
Ahead of the game, Kanu Nwankwo via his Twitter handle wrote ” Looking forward to Sundays game when we host Ahly Benghazi. #CAFCL tie. Kick off 3pm. 27th August Aba. Let’s do this @fcenyimba.”
Recall that former Nigerian International Nwankwo Kanu was appointed Chairman of the nine time Nigerians Champions and will look to achieve success in the continent.
Managed by another Ex Nigerian International Finidi George, the People’s Elephants must win in front of their fans to stay in the Champions League, a competition they have won twice.
