NWFL Mid-Season Transfer Window Opens as 2024/25 Season Break Begins
The Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) has officially opened its mid-season transfer window following the completion of the first half of the 2024/25 season. The transfer window will remain open until March 11, 2025, offering clubs the chance to strengthen their squads ahead of the second stanza of the season, which is set to resume on March 19.
The league is currently on a break after matchday seven fixtures were completed last week.
In Group A, Remo Stars Ladies are leading the table with 19 points, closely pursued by the defending champions, Edo Queens, who have 17 points. Meanwhile, in Group B, Rivers Angels and Bayelsa Queens are tied at the top with 17 points, while Delta Queens trail behind.
As clubs look to bolster their squads during this crucial transfer window, all eyes will be on the changes that could shape the second half of the season.
