Nwora, Antentokoumpo inspire Bucks to win over Pistons
Milwaukee Bucks Nigerian Small Forward, Jordan Nwora scored 11 points and dropped 4 rebounds to help his team to a win over the Detroit Pistons in the NBA Eastern Conference.
It was however, the Greek Freak, Giannis Antetokounmpo, who had the most telling contribution for the Bucks. The Greek-Nigerian forward scored 25 points, with 8 rebounds and 4 assists to secure a win of 130 points to 115 points.
The Bucks won the first 2 quarters of the game comfortably, but the Pistons came back strongly in the last two quarters, tying the 3rd quarter and winning the 4th, although it was too little too late. Pistons’ Small Forward, Jerami Grant, was in inspired form as he scored 31 points with 10 rebounds and 1 assist.
It was a third consecutive win for the Milwaukee Bucks, taking them to 5-3 for the season, and a third consecutive defeat for the Pistons, ensuring that they have won only one of their 8 matches this season.
