Odion Ighalo bags brace as Shanghai Shenhua trash Sone Aluko’s Beijing Renhe
Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo scored two goals as Shanghai Shenhua trashed Sone Aluko’s Beijing Renhe 5-1 in a Chinese Super League game played at the Hongkou Football Stadium on Sunday.
Giovanni Moreno and former Inter midfielder Fredy Guarin scored two goals to put Shanghai Shenhua in front in the first 33 minute of the game.
Odion Ighalo in the 35th minute increased the tally to three with his 3rd goal of the season. He completed his brace in the 66th minute with another strike to increase Shanghai Shenhua tally to four.
Zhang Lu scored Shanghai Shenhua fifth goal in the 80th minute of the game before Makhete Diop pulled one back for Beijing Renhe in the 86th minute.
The brace has increased Odion Ighalo tally to four goals in four games. Sone Aluko was in action for Beijing Renhe for the entire duration of the game.
