Ola Aina monitored by two Italian clubs
Two Serie A clubs, AC Milan and AS Roma, are interested in signing Super Eagles defender Ola Aina next summer. Aina’s contract with Nottingham Forest will expire at the end of the season, making him a free agent.
Roma reportedly sees Aina as a versatile player who can strengthen their defence, whether Ivan Juric stays on as coach or not. Aina, who has experience in Serie A with Torino, is being targeted to improve the squad at no extra cost.
AC Milan is also keeping a close watch on Aina. With contracts for their full-backs Davide Calabria and Alessandro Florenzi set to expire, Aina could become a valuable addition.
If the deal goes through, Aina would join fellow Nigerians Samuel Chukwueze and Noah Okafor at Milan, further increasing the club’s Nigerian presence.
Both Roma and Milan are eager to add the experienced defender to their squads ahead of next season.
