Ola Aina reveals when he will return from Injury

Nottingham Forest defender, Ola Aina, is optimistic about making a comeback before the end of the current season after being sidelined with a calf injury.

Aina has missed Forest’s last three league matches under manager Nuno Espirito Santo due to the injury, which he sustained during Forest’s 1-0 win over Manchester United last month.

The 28-year-old is also doubtful for Sunday’s Emirates FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City.

“Hopefully, I’ll be fit soon. I’m just taking it day by day. It’s been progressing well. I tore my calf, but it’s not too serious. It’s a grade two tear,” Aina said during an interview with Gary Lineker on The Rest is Football Podcast.

“God willing, I’ll be back before the end of the season.”
