Olivier Giroud to the rescue as Milan beat Torino to end 7-game winless streak

Olivier Giroud scored the only goal to help Ac Milan end their 7-game winless run with a 1-0 win against Torino in a Serie A game on Friday.

The Serie A reigning champions had played 7 games in all competitions without winning a game until today’s game.

It was the case of the third time lucky for Milan who had lost two games to Torino this season; the 2-1 in Serie A in October and 1-0 last month in the Coppa Italia.

Olivier Giroud scored the only goal of the game in the 62nd minute with a flicking header following a good cross from Theo Hernandez.
