Olowookere mames 20 Flamingos for WAFU B Cup in Ghana

Nigeria’s U17 girls’ football team, the Flamingos, will compete in the WAFU B U17 Girls’ Cup in Ghana. Head coach Bankole Olowookere has selected 20 players, including FIFA World Cup scorers Shakirat Moshood and Harmony Chidi, for the tournament.

Other players named in the squad are strikers Peace Effiong and Mary Lucky Nkpa, midfielder Faridat Abdulwahab, defenders Taiwo Adegoke and Ayomide Ibrahim, and goalkeeper Christiana Uzoma.
