One turned down, others circle as Nantes demands big fee to sell Moses Simon

French Ligue 1 side Nantes have reportedly turned down an approach to sign Super Eagles star Simon Moses as they demand a huge fee.

As expected after his stelar performances at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations, Simon Moses is being courted by many European clubs.

In fact, Leeds United have had a bid rejected by Nantes after the English clubs offer fell short Nantes valuation.

According to owngoalnigeria, Leeds United want Simon Moses on loan with a view to sign on a permanent basis but their bid was turned down by Nantes who are expecting a fee of €20m from any club ready to take their most prized asset.

While the report also suggested that Nantes who are 9th in the Ligue 1 table would prefer to hang on to Moses Simon until the end of the season.

They are however, open to losing him if their valuation is met, which none of the clubs interested in him at the moment as met.

Moses Simon was Nigeria’s best player at AFCON 2021 scoring one and assisting one before the Super Eagles were sent packing in the round of 16 by Tunisia.
