Onyedika and Lookman Score as Club Brugge Hold Atletico Madrid to 3–3 Draw

Super Eagles stars Raphael Onyedika and Ademola Lookman were on target as Club Brugge and Atletico Madrid played out a thrilling 3–3 draw in the UEFA Champions League.
The two Nigerians started the first-leg playoff match and played key roles for their teams. Atletico Madrid took the lead early through Julian Alvarez from the penalty spot. Just before halftime, Lookman doubled the advantage after a smart move involving Antoine Griezmann.
Club Brugge responded strongly in the second half. Onyedika scored in the 52nd minute after reacting quickly from a corner kick situation. Nicolo Tresoldi then made it 2–2, before Atletico went ahead again later in the match.
In the closing minutes, Onyedika provided an assist for Christos Tzolis, who scored a late equaliser to secure a 3–3 draw for the Belgian side.
Onyemaechi Loses With Olympiacos
In another match, Super Eagles defender Bruno Onyemaechi and Olympiacos lost 2–0 at home to Bayer Leverkusen. Onyemaechi came on in the 82nd minute but could not change the result.
Olympiacos will now travel to Germany for the return leg, where they need a strong win to keep their Champions League hopes alive.
