Onyekuru joins Saudi Arabian Club Al Feiha

Nigerian winger Henry Onyekuru has joined Saudi Arabian club Al Feiha from Turkish side Adana Demirspor, SportsRation reports.

Henry Onyekuru is the first Super Eagle to join the growing list of superstars who have made the switch to oil-rich Saudi Arabia from European clubs in the current transfer window.

Following the January acquisition of Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo by Al-Nassr, the Saudi Arabian League has become a haven for players.

Former Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema, Ngolo Kante, Roberto Firmino, Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, and most recently African Footballer of the Year Sadio Mane headline a star-studded cast in Saudi Arabia ahead of the new season.

Onyekuru arrived in Saudi Arabia on Thursday August 10 for his medical before the deal was signed today Friday August 11 to end his Association with Adana Demirspor.

Recall that Onyekuru first joined Adana on loan from Olympiakos and just two months ago agreed terms for a permanent transfer to the Turkish topflight club.

During his only season with Adana, Onyekuru scored eight goals in 30 appearances.

The 15-cap Nigerian International has been unveiled and will wear jersey number 7 at Al Feiha this coming season.
