Joseph Yobo talks about his coaching badge and the impact he’ll have on the Super Eagles
Newly appointed Super Eagles assistant coach, Joesph Yobo has finally broken his silence about his coaching licence.
The appointment of the former Everton defender was questioned by some quarters for various reasons but the former OM and Norwich defender is adamant his appointment would be good for the team and also help him grow as a manager.
Joseph Yobo who played over 100 games for the National team is out to impact the Super Eagles with his wealth of experience.
“I want to add my quota to the development of the team,” Yobo said on Brilla FM.
“As a former player and captain, I will like to bring my defensive capabilities into the team and I believe it will be a massive improvement to the backline.”
Joseph Yobo also revealed that he would get his coaching bagdge.
“I also want to learn from the coach [Rohr] because he has done well since taking over the team and it will be an honour to learn under him whilst I also pursue my Uefa/Caf badges.”
