Oshoala Receives Ranger Rover From Club Boss
Dalian Quanjian of China striker, Asisat Oshoala has received a brand new Ranger Rover Vogue gift from her club president, after she emerged top scorer in the Chinese Women’s Super League and her club were crowned champions.
The Super Falcons star and two-time African Women Footballer of The Year got the gift from her appreciative club president after Quanjin won their final game of the season.
Oshoala scored twice and provided two assists to help her club beat Shanghai 5-3 in the Chinese Women’s Super Cup on Tuesday, after which she displayed her medal and the trophy.
The result saw the side record 32 points on the final log of the eight-team championship, while Oshoala netted 12 goals in her first season in China.
Oshoala, who has previously featured for Liverpool Ladies and Arsenal Ladies in England, said she was excited with the gift, but acknowledged that the bigger joy for her was in helping her side emerge champs.
The Nigerian international, who joined Dalian Quanjian from Arsenal Ladies on 10 February, stated: “SUPER CUP CHAMPIONEEEEE. BUZZINGGGGGG…. mad game..5-3 against shanghai, two (2) goals and two (2) assists from me.”
