Osihmen Boost For Napoli Ahead Of Fiorentina Tie
Luciano Spalleti tutored Napoli will be boosted with news that Victor Osihmen is fit for this weekends Italian Serie A clash vs Fiorentina at the Diego Amanda Maradona stadium in Naples.
However, scans on the Nigeria international and the results showed he had not suffered any form of injury.
“After complaining of a feeling of discomfort during training yesterday Victor Osimhen was seen by the club’s medical staff,” a statement by the club website read.
“The Nigerian forward underwent tests and it was determined that he hadn’t suffered an injury.
“Today [Wednesday] Osimhen followed a personalised schedule in training, covering gym and pitch work.”
Napoli are currently placed 2nd in the Italian Serie A standings with 66 points, one point adrift of table toppers Ac Milan.
Napoli will be favourites to win against the Violets after their impressive 1-3 win at Atalanta last weekend.
If selected , Victor Osihmen will be making his first Napoli appearance since returning from international duty with Nigeria.
