Osimaga Duke explains how he feels about Sunshine Stars NPFL safety
Sunshine Stars’ midfield general, Osimaga Duke, has expressed his joy after helping his team avoid relegation in the 2023/2024 NPFL season.
Duke, who played in 35 matches this season, is eager to finish on a high note as they face Niger Tornadoes in their final league game. The midfielder praised the coaches, backroom staff, and fans for their unwavering support and vowed to improve next season.
“We give God thanks for bringing us out from the relegation zone and making me have an injury-free season. I thank God for making it possible for me to play over 36 matches without an injury,” Duke said.
“We are coming here to do what we know how to do best. We are coming here to play for the state, coaches, players, and fans.
“We thank the coaches and backroom staff for the encouragement. We thank the fans for sticking with us and promise to do better next season.”
