Osimhen and Icardi on Target as Galatasaray Thrash Kayserispor

Victor Osimhen and Mauro Icardi were both on the scoresheet from the penalty spot as Galatasaray powered to a dominant 4–0 victory over Kayserispor in their Turkish Süper Lig encounter at RAMS Park on Saturday.

Galatasaray took control of the game from the opening minutes and wasted little time in going ahead. Their early pressure paid off in the 7th minute when Kayserispor defender Aaron Opoku accidentally diverted the ball into his own net, handing the hosts a deserved lead.

The home side continued to dictate the tempo and doubled their advantage in the 26th minute. Victor Osimhen calmly converted a penalty after a foul in the box, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way to make it 2–0 before half-time.

After the break, Galatasaray showed no signs of easing off. Gabriel Sara made it three in the 60th minute with a well-taken finish following a clever assist from Osimhen, further underlining the champions’ attacking quality.

The rout was completed in stoppage time when Mauro Icardi stepped up to score from the spot after another foul in the area, sealing a comprehensive 4–0 win.

The result keeps Galatasaray firmly in the hunt for the league title, while Kayserispor remain rooted near the bottom of the table as their relegation worries deepen.
