Osimhen Hurries to Catch Flight to Super Eagles Camp After Galatasaray Defeat
Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen was captured in a video rushing through the airport to catch a flight to Morocco, where Nigeria’s national team has set up camp ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup playoffs.
The Nigerian forward appeared focused and in high spirits despite Galatasaray’s surprise 2–1 defeat to Kocaelispor in the Turkish Super Lig.
Osimhen, who played the full match, avoided any injury scares and is now set to join his international teammates as preparations continue for the crucial qualifying games.
In the video shared by fans, the 26-year-old was seen moving briskly through the terminal with his travel bag, waving briefly to onlookers before heading towards his boarding gate.
His early arrival in camp will come as a boost for head coach Eric Chelle , who is keen to have all his key players available ahead of the must-win fixtures.
Osimhen has been in good form this season for Galatasaray and is expected to lead the Super Eagles’ attack as Nigeria aim to secure their place at the 2026 World Cup.
