Osimhen is Africa’s 5th most valuable player; more valuable than Ronaldo
Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is the fifth most valuable player in Africa after the likes of Mo Salah, Saido Mane, Achraf Hakimi and Nicolas Pepe.
The Lille forward who has been linked with various top clubs, made the 100-man most valuable list complied by CIES Football Observatory who calculates the transfer value players in Europe’s top five league.
Victor Osimhen became one of the most sought-after players in Europe after repeated man of the match performances for Lille which earned him a place in the French Ligue 1 team of the season, and also claiming his club’s player of the season.
These feats have increased his market value and he is currently valued at €64.3 which is €1.5m more than the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo who is valued at €62.8.
Kylian Mbappe remains the most valuable player in the world at  €259.2 million.
