Super Eagles and Napoli forward Victor Osimhen is back in training ahead of his sides clash vs Inter Milan on January 4.
The forward has been instrumental to Napoli’s run in Serie A, the Partonopei occupying top spot with 41 points, 11 clear of their next opponents Inter Milan.
Luciano Spalleti’s men are enjoying their best season in a long time and Osimhen who has scored 10 goals already this season was part of training at the SSCN Konami training center.
Osimhen will hope to continue his goal-scoring form, the Nigerian who celebrated his 24th birthday few days ago ahead of Marko Arnautovic (8) and Lautaro Martinez on the Serie A goal-scorers chart.
To regain fitness from the World cup break, Napoli have played friendly games against Antalyaspor, Crystal Palace, Villarreal and Lille winning the first two before suffering defeat in the other two.
A win for Osimhen and Napoli at the San Siro will boost their confidence ahead of the business stage of the season.
