Osimhen Named Serie A Player Of The Month For February
Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen has added another feather to his cap after he was named Serie A player of the month for February by the Italian Footballers Association (AIC).
The Super Eagles star enjoyed a productive spell in February, scoring four goals in four games.
The 24-year-old also recently bagged the 2022 Best Foreign Athlete award in Italy.
Osimhen has won numerous awards in recent time including the Player of the Year Award at the 2022 Globe Awards and the 2021/2022 Serie A Young Player of the Year Award.
Osimhen won the player of the month award in the Serie A in January and also the goal of the month award.
He has netted 19 goals in 21 Serie A appearances for Napoli to lead their Serie A title hopes.
Napoli are 15 points clear of second-placed Inter Milan in the Serie A title race.
Luciano Spalletti’s men will hope to bounce back from the loss to Lazio last week, when they take on Atalanta at the Diego Maradona Stadium on Saturday.
