Osimhen return a possibility for AC Milan UEFA Champions League double-header, Spalleti reveals
Injured Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen could possibly return in time for Napoli`s UEFA Champions League quater-final double-header vs AC Milan according to Luciano Spalleti.
The Napoli manager made this disclosure during his pre-match interview ahead of this weekends Serie A clash vs Leece.
Napoli visit Stadio Via del mare on Friday hoping to bounce back from a 0-4 loss to 3rd placed AC Milan in their last game.
When asked by reporters about the possibility of Osimhen featuring in the game Vs 16th placed Lecce, Luciano Spalleti said;
” Tomorrow there is no chance, with the schedule we said to go to next week. There are many possibilities to see him against Milan, but we have to wait for the practical development of next week’s work,” he said told MilanNews.
Napoli will not be overly concerned about the absence of the league`s top-scorer for the game vs Lecce as they hold a 16-point advantage over second placed Lazio.
