Osimhen Scores First Goal of the season for Galatasaray in Big Win
Victor Osimhen scored his first goal of the season as Galatasaray beat Kayserispor 4-0 to continue their perfect start in the Turkish Super Lig.
The Super Eagles striker, who joined the Turkish champions permanently from Napoli this summer, made his first league start of the campaign after coming off the bench in last week’s win over Karagümrük.
Evren Eren Elmali opened the scoring shortly before half-time and doubled his tally just after the restart from a Leroy Sané cross.
Osimhen added the third in the 86th minute with a calm finish, before Sané sealed the win with a fourth goal in stoppage time.
The victory keeps Galatasaray top of the table with three wins from three, scoring 10 goals without conceding, as they aim for a fourth straight league title.
Osimhen had a superb loan spell at Galatasaray last season, scoring 36 goals and providing eight assists in 40 matches. The club will be hoping for more success at home and in the UEFA Champions League this term.
Galatasaray will host Rizespor next Saturday, while Kayserispor face Kocaelispor away.
