Osimhen Scores Twice as Galatasaray Thrash Erzurum FK 4-0
Victor Osimhen scored twice and provided an assist as Galatasaray cruised to a 4-0 win over Erzurum FK in the Turkish Super Lig on Friday night.
Roland Sallai put the defending champions ahead in the 12th minute before Osimhen turned provider eight minutes later.
The Nigeria international set up Yunus Akgün to score Galatasaray’s second goal and put the visitors firmly in control.
Osimhen then got on the scoresheet himself on the stroke of half-time, making it 3-0 at the break.
The 27-year-old completed his brace 10 minutes from full-time, with Gabriel Sara providing the assist.
Osimhen played the full 90 minutes as Galatasaray secured another comfortable victory.
The striker has now scored four goals and provided one assist in two league appearances for the Turkish champions this season.
His impressive start will be welcome news for Galatasaray as they look to defend their Super Lig title.
