Paris FC 8-0 Le Havre: Chiamaka Nnadozie shines

Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie was in goal for Paris FC as they secured an impressive 8-0 victory over Le Havre in the French Première Ligue on Sunday afternoon.

Just a few days earlier, Nnadozie and her Paris FC teammates faced disappointment in the UEFA Women’s Champions League after being knocked out by Manchester City. Paris FC lost 5-0 at home and 3-0 in Manchester, exiting the competition with an 8-0 aggregate defeat.

However, the French club quickly bounced back, turning their attention to the league. At Stade Charléty in Paris, Paris FC dominated Le Havre with four goals from Clara Matéo and two each from Maëlle Garbino and Julie Dufour. This victory marked Paris FC’s biggest league win since joining the Première Ligue in 2017.

Nnadozie has been part of other big wins for Paris FC, including a 9-0 win over Lorient in the Coupe de France Féminine in January 2022 and a 6-0 triumph over First Vienna in this season’s Women’s Champions League.
