Patoranking builds Mini Stadium in Lagos

Patoranking, the renowned Afrobeats and reggae-dancehall artist, has constructed a mini stadium in Ebutte Metta, the community where he grew up, as a gesture of giving back.

Since his rise to fame in 2013 with his hit song “Alubarika,” Patoranking has become a prominent figure in the music industry, releasing numerous hit tracks like “Abule,” “Confirm,” and “Himself.” Despite his success, the 34-year-old artist remains deeply connected to his roots in Ebutte Metta, Lagos.

Raised in a family of eight, Patoranking faced significant financial challenges, even having to withdraw from university due to financial constraints. However, he has since overcome these hurdles and recently graduated from Harvard Business School.

In a recent social media post, Patoranking unveiled the mini stadium he built in Ebutte Metta, emphasizing his enduring love for the community, which he has referenced in his music.

A passionate football enthusiast and ardent Arsenal fan, Patoranking has had the honor of presenting the Player of the Month award to Arsenal’s Oleksandr Zinchenko in 2023 and performing at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

This initiative not only highlights Patoranking’s success but also his commitment to uplifting his community and supporting local talent in Ebutte Metta.
