Paul Onuachu ends 5-game goal drought in Genk’s 6-2 win at Waregem

Paul Onuachu has returned into scoring sheet after his goal in Genk’s 6-2 win against Waregem in a Belgian Pro League game on Sunday.

The Super Eagles striker has failed to score in his previous five games in all competitions broke the duck in the free scoring game.

Junya Ito opened the scoring for Genk in the 13th minute of the game. Kristian Thorstvedt doubled the visitors advantage in the 45th minute.

Paul Onuachu scored Genk’s third in the 47 after he was teed up by Junya Tito. Bryan Heynen 52nd minute scored the visitor’s 4th goal.

In the 54th minute of the clash, Jhon Lucumi scored the 5th goal but Jelle Vossen pulled one back in the 63rd minute of the game.

Dereck Kutesa further reduced the tally with his 83rd minute strike but Bryan Heynen with his brace in the 86th minute complete the 6-2 rout.

Former Chelsea and Nigeria elible strike Ike Uche was subbed on for Paul Onuachu in the in the 80th minute of the game.
