Paul Onuachu scores 7th goal of the season as Trazonspor hold Sivasspor in Turkey
Paul Onuachu scored for a third-straight game as Trabzonspor held Sivasspor in a thrilling 3-3 draw on Monday evening. SportsRation reports.
The Nigerian striker scored just before the halftime break to draw visiting Trabzonspor level 2-2 in the Turkish Super lig fixture.
The action-packed first half produced four goals, Sivasspor leading 2-0 inside the opening 20-minutes.
Samuel Saiz and Rey Manaj fired the hosts ahead before former Arsenal forward Nicolas Pepe scored with a curling finish to halve the deficit for Trabzonspor .
Just before the break, Trezeguet served assist for Onuachu to fire into the bottom left corner for 2-2.
Rey Manaj restored Sivasspor’s lead in the 67th minute but Trezeguet levelled matters in the 76th minute, to seal a 3-3 draw.
Nigerian forward Paul Onuachu was in action for the entire game as he continues revival in Turkey after a difficult half-season at Southampton.
Onuachu has scored seven goals in nine apperances for Trabzonspor, four of those goals coming in the last three games vs Sivasspor [1], Konyaspor [2] and Fernabache [1].
Trabzonspor occupy 5th spot on the Turkish Lig standings with 23 points from 13 games.
