Paul Onuachu’s brace fires FC Midtjylland past Odense Boldklub into DBU Pokalen final
Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu scored twice as FC Midtjylland trash Odense Boldklub 4-0 in the Danish Cup semifinal on Wednesday to book their place in the DBU Pokalen final.
The fans at MCH Arena who are used to seeing Paul Onuachu at his best were again given a treat by the tall Nigerian who was classy as usual in the clash.
An owngoal from Troels Kloeve put Midtjylland ahead. Paul Onuachu increased the tally to two in the 47th minute. He completed his brace in the 72nd minute of the game.
Gustav Wikheim completed the rout in the 87th minute to seal Midtjylland place in the final.
Midtjylland will now await the winner of the second semi final that will be played tomorrow between defending champions Brondby, and AaB Aalborg for the May final.
