Plateau dump out of #CAFCC as attention shifts to Enyimba, MFM & Akwa

Reigning Nigeria Professional Football League champions, Plateau United have finally been dumped out of CAF competition after an embarrassing 4-0 defeat in Algeria.

Plateau United, as the Nigeria Professional Football League champions, started out in the CAF Champions League before they were knocked down to CAF Confederation Cup and now out of all CAF Competitions.

Plateau United suffered a 4-0 defeat in Algeria at the Stade Omar Hammadi in the hands of USM Alger to render their 2-1 home win inconsequential.

A goal either half from Oussama Darfalou and goals from Beldjilani Kadour, Benkhemassa Mohamed knocked the Nigerian champions out of CAF Competition this season.

All eyes will be on the remaining Nigerian clubs who will be playing tomorrow.

Mountain of Fire and Miracles FC who lost 1-0 to Djoliba in Lagos in the first leg, Enyimba who drew 1-1 away against Bidvest Wits and Akwa United who lost 2-0 away to Al Hilal Omdurman will be hoping for results good enough to take them to the group stages.
