Nikola Jokic suffered an injury scare during Denver’s game, stopping play and immediately drawing concern from fans.
The game was tied 63–63 at halftime when Jokic went down early in the third quarter. The Nuggets star appeared to hyperextend his left knee without contact and immediately grabbed his leg in pain. He limped off the court and went straight to the locker room, never returning to the game.
Before leaving, Jokic had 21 points, five rebounds, and eight assists, once again leading Denver in all areas. His absence was quickly felt, as the Nuggets struggled to stay competitive without their best player.
