Premier League big boys keen on Super Eagles striker – Report
Magpies interested in Nigerian goal machine
Newcastle United are interested in signing Super Eagles hotshot Victor Boniface from Bayer Leverkusen following his excellent start to life in Germany.
Boniface moved to Bayer Leverkusen from Union Saint-Gilloise for around €20 million this summer, but is now worth double that amount after just ten official matches for the German outfit.
The Sun reports that Newcastle United are monitoring the striker to put them in a good position to sign him once the transfer window opens. The Magpies are keen to add quality to their squad, especially after defeating PSG 4-1 to show they belong with the big boys.
Boniface has scored nine goals and provided three assists in 10 appearances this season. He won the Rookie of the Month and Player of the Month awards for August, and the Rookie of the Month for September.
Newcastle will be a good choice of team for Boniface, who has shown a vast array of qualities and abilities on the ball. He will compliment the club’s other forwards very well, and enjoy playing in the Premier League.
