Promise Fulfilled: Akwa United Present Jerseys to Winners of Predict and Win Promo

Akwa United FC have fulfilled their promise by presenting jerseys to winners of their Predict and Win promo, SportsRation reports.
The presentation ceremony took place on Saturday at the Uyo Township Stadium, with fifteen of the twenty winners receiving their jerseys. The club also confirmed that other winners who did not attend the presentation ceremony will receive their jerseys at a later date.
Akwa United had earlier announced twenty winners who correctly predicted their 1–0 victory over Sporting Lagos and followed all the rules of the promo.
Speaking during the event, Chairman of Akwa United FC, Mr Joseph Eno congratulated the winners and thanked the supporters for their strong backing.
“We are happy to reward our loyal supporters today. Your support means everything to this club,” he said.
“I congratulate all the winners and thank every fan who continues to stand by Akwa United.
“Keep supporting us and we will not disappoint you as we push for promotion.”
Akwa United are currently top of the NNL Conference B table with 28 points from 14 matches. They are four points clear with just four games left to play this season.
There will be no league matches this weekend due to the Salah break. The Promise Keepers will return to action on Thursday, March 26, 2026 by 3pm at the Uyo Township Stadium when they face Godswill Akpabio United FC at the Uyo Township Stadium.
