PSG 2-1 Chelsea: Watch as Mikel strikes to hand Chelsea a lifeline against PSG
This match was billed as a cracker and it surely lived up to its billing as PSG desperately wanted to win comfortably ahead of the 2nd leg however they will have to manage a slender 2-1 lead when they travel to London.
Mikel Obi scored on the stroke of halftime to hand Chelsea a lifeline against PSG. The Nigerian star went from villain to hero as had earlier deflected Zlatan Ibrahimovic freekick past Thibaut Courtois for PSG 1st goal.
He made amends for his earlier mistake by latching on to Costa’s flick from a Willian’s corner.
The goal was Obi’s 6th career goal after over 350 games and over 50 Champions League appearances, and it came in added time of the first half.

Substitute Edinson Cavani scored on the 78th minute to set up a tense affair ahead of the 2nd leg in Stamford bridge.
However Chelsea will be satisfied with the result after enduring much pressure from PSG and will consider themselves lucky to have only lost by a 2-1 margin, which will put them in prime position to qualify for the Quarter final
