Rangers reach agreement with Cremonese over Cyriel Dessers move

Rangers have finalised an agreement with Italian club Cremonese over the signing of Super Eagles striker Cyriel Dessers this summer following weeks of negotiations between both sides.

After impressing in his debut season with Cremonese and scoring six goals despite their relegation, Dessers caught the eye of Rangers scouts, who view him as perfect for their style. The Scottish giants have agreed to pay a base fee of €5m plus a further €1.5m in add-ons to bring the former Feyenoord striker to Ibrox.

Once he completes his medicals, Dessers will be unveiled as Rangers’ sixth signing this summer after Dujon Sterling, Kieran Dowell, Jack Butland, Abdallah Sima and Sam Lammers.
