Rangers reveal how they will transport NPFL title from Jos to Enugu
The management of Rangers International FC have announced how they will transport the Nigeria Premier Football League title from Jos to Enugu.
The champions elect have revealed plans to fly the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) trophy back to Enugu from Jos on a chartered flight after their game on Sunday, June 23, 2024.
The newly-crowned champions will return to Enugu with the squad and the trophy after their final game against Gombe United.
This match, which will also be attended by Plateau State Governor Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, could see Rangers aim to add three more points to their current 67, potentially reaching 70 points, according to the club’s CEO, Barr. Ameobi Ezeaku.
In their previous encounter, Rangers defeated Gombe United 4-1 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, with goals from top scorer Godwin Obaje (2), Chidiebere Nwobodo, and Kenechukwu Agu.
