Rangers stun Doma, Kwara United and Enyimba pick away point
Three Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matches were decided on Saturday, February 24, 2024 , with Rangers stunning Doma, while Kwara United and Enyimba FC picked away points.
Reigning Nigerian champions, Enyimba FC managed to secure a hard-fought 0-0 draw against Bendel Insurance in their Nigeria Premier Football League matchday 21 clash at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City on Saturday.
Despite Bendel Insurance’s dominance throughout the game, they struggled to penetrate the solid Enyimba defense, resulting in a goalless stalemate.
The Peoples Elephants maintain their position in third place on the league table, having accumulated 36 points from 21 matches.
Meanwhile, former champions Rangers secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Doma United at the Pantami Township Stadium. This win marked the Flying Antelopes’ first away victory of the season.
In another match, Kwara United were held to a 1-1 draw by Katsina United in Ilorin. Adeshina Gata opened the scoring for the home team just before halftime, but Katsina United managed to equalize through Michael Ibe four minutes later.
