Rasheedat Ajibade on target as Atletico Madrid thrash Real Betis
Nigeria’s Rasheedat Ajibade was among the scorers as Atletico Madrid secured a resounding 5-1 victory over Real Betis in the Spanish Women’s League.

Super Falcons of Nigeria star Rasheedat Ajibade played a prominent role in the match, assisting Ludmila’s opening goal in the 25th minute before scoring the second goal herself in the 32nd minute.
Estefania Romina Banini Ruiz added a third just seven minutes later. Despite Betis pulling one back in the 59th minute through Rosa Marquez, Atletico Madrid maintained their dominance. Sheila Guijarro extended their lead with a fourth goal in the 90th minute, assisted by Navarro.
Navarro continued her impressive performance by assisting Lucia Moral for the fifth goal in additional time, sealing the comprehensive victory for Atletico Madrid.
Ajibade’s contribution was instrumental as she not only scored a goal but also provided an assist during her 71 minutes on the field before being substituted for Marta Cardona.
